The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) and the host Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL), saw Eureka's baseball team gain a win over Rochester by a tally of 6-1.

The Hornets (20-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL). The Falcons enter the Heart of Illinois battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley held off Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL), 16-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Rockets face the Edwardsville Tigers (Edwardsville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 28. Rochester will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 11-6 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia, IL).
