The Northmont Thunderbolts baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Fairfield Indians to 1 in the Thunderbolts non-league win on Saturday.
The Thunderbolts now own a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host Fairmont for a Greater Western Ohio test on Monday, April 28. Northmont will clash with a Firebirds team coming off a 7-0 league win over Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH). The Firebirds record now stands at 10-7.
With the defeat, Fairfield drops to 2-13 on the year. The Indians travel to Sycamore (Cincinnati, OH) to clash with the Aviators in a Greater Miami test on Monday, April 28. The Aviators go into the test with a record of 6-8.
