Illinois High School Baseball - Mather loses to Freeport

Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Mather Rangers (Chicago, IL), 11-1 in a non-league battle.

The Pretzels (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Vikings enter the Northern Illinois battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Guilford prevailed over Belvidere (Belvidere, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Rangers face the Lake View Wildcats (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - North battle, on Monday, April 28. Mather will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Kennedy (Chicago, IL).
