Illinois High School Baseball - Mercer County loses to Monmouth United

The Mercer County Golden Eagles baseball squad (Aledo, IL), 6-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Monmouth United Red Storm (Monmouth, IL)

With the triumph, Monmouth United moves its record to 18-3 on the season. The Red Storm travel to Illini West (Carthage, IL) to confront the Chargers in a non-league contest on Monday, April 28. The Chargers come into the contest with a record of 15-7. Illini West lost 5-0 in their recent non-league contest against Farmington (Farmington, IL)

The Golden Eagles now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monmouth-Roseville for a Three Rivers contest on Monday, April 28. Mercer County will confront a Titans squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Erie (Erie, IL). The Titans record now stands at 6-12.
