Ohio High School Baseball - St. Edward defeats New Albany

The St. Edward Eagles baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting New Albany Eagles to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
The Eagles now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benedictine for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 30. St. Edward will play a Bengals team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Lake (Uniontown, OH). The Bengals record now stands at 5-5.
With the defeat, New Albany drops to 9-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Westerville Central (Westerville, OH) to play the Warhawks in a Ohio Capital - Ohio test on Monday, April 28. The Warhawks go into the test with a record of 5-8. Westerville Central lost 10-5 in their recent league test against Central Crossing (Grove City, OH)
