New York High School Baseball - Poly Prep Country Day holds off Phillips Academy

April 26, 2025: Brooklyn, NY 11228

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Poly Prep Country Day Blue Devils (Brooklyn, NY) and the visiting Phillips Academy Big Blue (Andover, MA), saw Poly Prep Country Day's baseball team gain a win over Phillips Academy by a tally of 7-3.

The Blue Devils (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Packer Collegiate Institute (Brooklyn, NY). The Pelicans enter the Independent Private Parochial battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Packer Collegiate Institute held off St. Ann's (Brooklyn, NY), 6-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Big Blue face the Dexter Southfield (Brookline, MA) in a Central New England battle, on Tuesday, April 29. Phillips Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
