The Somerville Pioneers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Princeton Day Panthers to 5 in the Pioneers non-league win on Saturday.
The Pioneers now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league test on Monday, April 28. Somerville will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 16-5 league loss to Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 6-6.
With the defeat, Princeton Day drops to 3-10 on the year. The Panthers travel to West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ) to battle the Pirates in a CVC - Colonial match on Monday, April 28. The Pirates come into the match with a record of 3-10. West Windsor-Plainsboro South lost 17-6 in their recent non-league match against Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ)
