Colorado High School Baseball - Rangely defeats Rye

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Rangely Panthers (Rangely, CO) and the visiting Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO), saw Rangely's baseball team beat Rye by a margin of 12-6.

The Panthers (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Monte Vista (Monte Vista, CO). The Pirates enter the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Monte Vista held off Trinidad (Trinidad, CO), 15-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Thunderbolts face the Hoehne Farmers (Hoehne, CO) in a 2A Santa Fe battle, on Tuesday, April 29. Rye will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Farmers enter the battle with a 5-14 record after their 6-4 league win over Swink (Swink, CO).
