The Trinity Shamrocks baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Triad Knights to 2 in the Shamrocks non-league win on Saturday.

The Shamrocks now own a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to McCracken County for a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. Trinity will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Triad (Troy, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-4.

With the defeat, Triad drops to 16-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Jersey (Jerseyville, IL) to clash with the Panthers in a Mississippi Valley test on Monday, April 28. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 9-9. Jersey lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL)
