Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Olentangy Braves (Lewis Center, OH), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mt. Vernon improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Yellowjackets host St. Edward (Lakewood, OH) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 9-1.

The Braves now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olentangy Berlin for a test on Tuesday, April 29. Olentangy will battle a Bears team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Thomas Worthington (Worthington, OH). The Bears record now stands at 1-4.
