The Gretna East Griffins soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Northwest Wolves to 1 in the Griffins non-league victory on Saturday.
The Griffins now hold a 13-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bennington for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 29. Gretna East will play a Badgers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE). The Badgers record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Northwest moves to 7-1 on the year. The Wolves host Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA) to play the Rams in a CIML bout on Tuesday, April 29. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-4.
