California High School Baseball - Pinole Valley edges Novato

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Pinole Valley Spartans baseball team scored a close 7-5 win over the Novato Hornets.
The Spartans (3-5) will now prepare for their game against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Dons go into the game with a 1-8 record.
Next, the Hornets play the Marin Catholic Wildcats (Kentfield, CA) in a game, on Tuesday, April 29. Novato will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 13-6 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA).
