Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting James Logan Colts (Union City, CA), 15-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Granada upgrades its record to 8-9 on the year. The Matadors host Monte Vista (Danville, CA) to play the Mustangs in a game on Wednesday, May 7. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 2-6.

The Colts now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Newark Memorial for a match on Monday, April 28. James Logan will confront a Cougars team coming off a 13-13 league Kennedy (Fremont, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.
