Edgewood Cougars (Trenton, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH), 12-8 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Edgewood advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Cougars host Clinton-Massie (Clarksville, OH) to play the Falcons in a Region 8 game on Wednesday, April 30. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 8-3. Clinton-Massie lost 8-7 in their recent non-league game against Little Miami (Morrow, OH)

The Hurricane now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian Hill for a non-league game on Monday, April 28. Wilmington will play a Braves team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Summit Country Day (Cincinnati, OH). The Braves record now stands at 2-7.
