The University Liggett Knights lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the host Grosse Pointe North Norsemen to 1 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Knights now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Gabriel Richard for a AA Central Catholic challenge on Tuesday, April 29. University Liggett will clash with a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 9-5 non-league win over South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Grosse Pointe North falls to 0-11 on the year. The Norsemen host L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to clash with the Crusaders in a MAC challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 6-3. L'Anse Creuse North lost 16-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Romeo (Romeo, MI)
