In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-8 triumph over the Pleasantville Panthers.

The Firebirds (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chaminade (Mineola, NY). The Flyers go into the Catholic - Island challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Chaminade held off Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT), 13-5, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY) in a Section 1 III-B challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Pleasantville will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record.
