The Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) lacrosse the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 14-10 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Sentinels now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Portsmouth for a Division 2 outing on Tuesday, April 29. Smithfield will face a Patriots squad coming off a 17-2 league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Mt. Hope falls to 7-2 on the year. The Huskies travel to Burrillville (Harrisville, RI) to face the Broncos in a Division 3 outing on Tuesday, April 29. The Broncos go into the outing with a record of 1-5. Burrillville won 8-5 in their recent league outing against Coventry (Coventry, RI)
