Fans at Saturday's league contest between the St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH) and the host St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH), witnessed St. Ignatius's lacrosse squad top St. Edward by a score of 13-4.
The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against SPIRE Academy (Geneva, OH). The SPIRE enter the contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, SPIRE Academy was overwhelmed by Culver Academies (Culver, IN), 10-3, in a league contest.
Next, the Eagles meet the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) in a Region 2 contest, on Wednesday, April 30. St. Edward will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 10-1 record after their 19-4 non-league win over Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH).
