Michigan High School Softball - Anchor Bay sneaks past Howell

April 26, 2025: Fair Haven, MI 48023

The Anchor Bay Tars softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Howell Highlanders to 6 in the Tars non-league win on Saturday.

The Tars now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chippewa Valley for a Macomb Area - Red battle on Tuesday, April 29. Anchor Bay will encounter a Big Reds team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Fraser (Fraser, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Howell moves to 12-8 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI) to encounter the Dragons in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 26. The Dragons come into the battle with a record of 5-4. Lake Orion lost 9-3 in their recent non-league battle against Fenton (Fenton, MI)
