The Notre Dame Academy Eagles triumphed over the visiting Brookside Cardinals softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH) in a challenge, on Monday, April 28. Notre Dame Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Southview (Sylvania, OH).
The Cardinals (3-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH). The Redskins enter the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Port Clinton overcame Bowsher (Toledo, OH), 22-0, in a non-league challenge.
