In Saturday's non-league match, the host Mt. Pleasant Oilers softball team scored a tight 12-5 win over the Cheboygan Chiefs.
The Oilers (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI). The Wolfpack come into the non-league match with a 6-0 record.
In their next game, the Chiefs confront the Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 26. Cheboygan will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 4-3 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI).
