The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) softball the visiting Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH), 3-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Chieftains now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvert for a Sandusky Bay - River outing on Monday, April 28. Hopewell-Loudon will encounter a Senecas team coming off a 4-2 league win over Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH). The Senecas record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Columbian moves to 8-9 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Rossford (Rossford, OH) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 29. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 5-8. Rossford won 23-1 in their recent league outing against Fostoria (Fostoria, OH)
