Illinois High School Softball - Dakota bounces Genoa-Kingston

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Dakota Indians softball team scored a tight 14-7 victory over the Genoa-Kingston Cogs.
The Indians (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Pearl City (Pearl City, IL). The Wolves go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - North match with a 13-9 record. In their last match, Pearl City was routed by Fulton (Fulton, IL), 5-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Cogs battle the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) in a Big Northern match, on Monday, April 28. Genoa-Kingston will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Dukes & Duchesses go into the match with a 7-5 record after their 10-3 league win over Lutheran (Rockford, IL).
