The Kelley Mariners (Silver Bay, MN) softball routed the visiting East Central Eagles (Sandstone, MN), 12-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Mariners now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cook County for a Polar outing on Monday, April 28. Kelley will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to East Central (Sandstone, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, East Central moves to 2-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN) to encounter the Jaguars in a Great River outing on Tuesday, April 29. The Jaguars come into the outing with a record of 2-4.
