The East Peoria Raiders softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Normal University Pioneers to 0 in the Raiders non-league win on Saturday.

The Raiders now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galesburg for a non-league battle on Monday, April 28. East Peoria will confront a Silver Streaks team coming off a 20-4 non-league loss to Macomb (Macomb, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 0-20.

With the loss, Normal University moves to 9-11 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL) to confront the Panthers in a Central State Eight battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 2-11. Decatur Eisenhower lost 19-3 in their recent non-league battle against Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL)
