In Saturday's non-league match, the host Seneca Fighting Irish softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Fieldcrest Knights.

The Fighting Irish (19-0) will now prepare for their match against Dwight (Dwight, IL). The Trojans come into the Tri-County match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Dwight was routed by Putnam County (Granville, IL), 9-8, in a league match.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL) in a Heart of Illinois match, on Monday, April 28. Fieldcrest will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Bunnies come into the match with a 6-9 record after their 4-1 league loss to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL).
