The Fonda-Fultonville Valley Hawks softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Gloversville Huskies/Dragons to 2 in the Valley Hawks non-league win on Saturday.

The Valley Hawks now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galway for a Section 2 Western - Northern battle on Monday, April 28. Fonda-Fultonville will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Gloversville moves to 2-9 on the season. The Huskies/dragons travel to Schuylerville (Schuylerville, NY) to confront the Horses in a Section 2 Foothills battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Horses come into the battle with a record of 2-7. Schuylerville lost 7-2 in their recent league battle against Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY)
