Illinois High School Softball - Geneva sneaks past Schaumburg

April 26, 2025: Geneva, IL 60134

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Geneva Vikings softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the Schaumburg Saxons.

The Vikings (5-9) will now prepare for their match against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Falcons come into the DuKane match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, Wheaton North nipped Naperville North (Naperville, IL), 17-9, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Saxons battle the Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL) in a Mid-Suburban West match, on Monday, April 28. Schaumburg will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 13-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).
