In Saturday's non-league test, the Marine City Mariners (Marine City, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hartland Eagles (Hartland, MI), by a count of 13-3.

Next, the Mariners meet the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 28. Marine City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 10-3 record after their 10-0 non-league win over New Haven (New Haven, MI).

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Walled Lake Northern toppled South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI), 10-1, in a league test.
