The Highland Cardinals triumphed over the host Iowa-Grant Panthers softball squad by a count of 16-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Hillsboro Tigers (Hillsboro, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 26. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 9-5 league win over Royall (Elroy, WI).
The Panthers (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwestern (Hazel Green, WI). The Wildcats enter the SWAL challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Southwestern overcame Boscobel (Boscobel, WI), 17-0, in a league challenge.
