Logan Grizzlies (Logan, UT) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Northridge Knights (Layton, UT), 8-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Logan improves its record to 16-11 on the year. The Grizzlies host Layton (Layton, UT) to play the Lancers in a non-league game on Monday, April 28. The Lancers enter the game with a record of 3-14. Layton won 20-0 in their recent non-league game against Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT)

The Knights now hold a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Box Elder for a 5A Region 5 game on Tuesday, April 29. Northridge will play a Bees squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Mountain Crest (Hyrum, UT). The Bees record now stands at 21-3.
