In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Regis Ramblers softball team scored a tight 11-8 victory over the Mellen Granite Diggers.

The Ramblers (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Independence/Gilmanton (Independence, WI). The Indees go into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Independence/Gilmanton was routed by Pepin/Alma (Pepin, WI), 5-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Granite Diggers battle the Elmwood/Plum City Wolves (Elmwood, WI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 26. Mellen will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Wolves go into the match with a 4-5 record after their 11-1 league loss to Boyceville (Boyceville, WI).
