The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN) and the host Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN), observed Spring Lake Park's softball team get by Monticello by a tally of 9-6.
The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Elk River (Elk River, MN). The Elks go into the Northwest Suburban bout with a 2-9 record. In their last bout, Elk River was routed by Mayo (Rochester, MN), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Magic battle the Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 26. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record.
