Michigan High School Softball - Riverview bounces Oxford

The Riverview Pirates softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Oxford Wildcats to 2 in the Pirates non-league win on Saturday.

The Pirates now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 26. Riverview will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 9-6 league win over Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Oxford moves to 2-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Seaholm (Birmingham, MI) to encounter the Maples in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 26. The Maples come into the battle with a record of 9-3. Seaholm won 11-4 in their recent non-league battle against Adams (Rochester, MI)
