Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM), 16-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Rio Grande upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Ravens host La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, April 30. The Bears go into the game with a record of 3-0.
The Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Valley ran past West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 7-6, in a non-league game.
