The Pope Francis Cardinals baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Agawam Brownies to 2 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cardinals (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Westfield (Westfield, MA). The Bombers go into the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Westfield gained a win over Holyoke (Holyoke, MA), 10-3, in a non-league match.
The Brownies (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Amherst-Pelham Regional (Amherst, MA). The Hurricanes go into the Valley match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Amherst-Pelham Regional gained a win over Hopkins Academy (Hadley, MA), 14-7, in a non-league match.
