Nebraska High School Baseball - Gretna gets by Burke

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) and the host Burke Bulldogs (Omaha, NE), saw Gretna's baseball squad beat Burke by a margin of 8-6.

Coming up next, the Dragons play the Elkhorn Antlers (Elkhorn, NE) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 28. Gretna will attempt to better on its 13-11 season record. The Antlers enter the battle with a 12-11 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Gross Catholic (Omaha, NE).

The Bulldogs now sport a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Omaha Northwest for a A District 1 battle on Thursday, April 28. Burke will play a Huskies squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Huskies record now stands at 9-15.
