North Carolina High School Baseball - Carolina International wallops West Charlotte

The Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) baseball trounced the host West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC), 21-11 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Comets play the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A contest, on Thursday, April 28. Carolina International will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Stallions enter the contest with a 7-6 record after their 5-4 league win over Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).

The Lions now sport a 3-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Mecklenburg for a Queen City 3A/4A contest on Friday, April 29. West Charlotte will play a Vikings squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-10.
