The Lincoln-Way East Griffins baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Crete-Monee Warriors to 0 in the Griffins non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Griffins (13-5) will now prepare for their match against De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Meteors go into the non-league match with a 6-12 record. In their last match, De La Salle ran past Kenwood (Chicago, IL), 10-9, in a non-league match.
The Warriors (5-6) will now prepare for their match against Thornridge (Dolton, IL). The Falcons go into the Southland match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Thornridge was overwhelmed by Kankakee (Kankakee, IL), 15-0, in a league match.
