In Wednesday's non-league game, the host St. Bernard Saints baseball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Griswold Wolverines.
The Saints (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Plainfield (Central Village, CT). The Panthers go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division III game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Plainfield tipped Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT), 5-3, in a non-league game.
The Wolverines (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Bulldogs go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division IV game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Lyman Memorial by Plainfield (Central Village, CT), 5-3, in a non-league game.
