The Herscher Tigers baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Watseka Warriors to 5 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers (9-13) will now prepare for their match against Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 6-10 record. In their last match, Pontiac edged Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL), 5-1, in a league match.
The Warriors (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Cornjerkers go into the Vermilion Valley match with a 9-13 record. In their last match, Hoopeston edged St. Anne (St. Anne, IL), 13-3, in a non-league match.
