The Hockinson Hawks baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting R.A. Long Lumberjacks to 6 in the Hawks league victory on Wednesday.
The Hawks (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Columbia River (Vancouver, WA). The Rapids go into the 2A Greater St. Helens match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Columbia River gained a win over Washougal (Washougal, WA), 11-0, in a league match.
The Lumberjacks (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Woodland (Woodland, WA). The Beavers go into the 2A Greater St. Helens match with a 3-11 record. In their last match, Woodland gained a win over Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA), 9-6, in a league challenge.
