Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC), 12-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Chatham Central upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Bears host Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to battle the Blue Comets in a non-league test on Friday, April 29. The Blue Comets come into the test with a record of 1-10. Asheboro 5-5 in their recent league test against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC)

With the defeat, Eastern Randolph falls to 1-11 on the season.
