Greater New Bedford RVT Bears (New Bedford, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Case Cardinals (Swansea, MA), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Bears now own a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dighton-Rehoboth Regional for a South Coast challenge on Monday, May 2. Greater New Bedford RVT will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 18-3 league win over Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Case falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Fairhaven (Fairhaven, MA) to battle the Blue Devils in a South Coast challenge on Friday, April 29. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Fairhaven lost 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Somerset Berkley Regional (Somerset, MA)
