Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 31-4 record. They take the field next when they host Pelham for a 6A Area 6 challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Helena will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Homewood (Homewood, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-25.

With the loss, Hoover falls to 31-11 on the campaign.
