The South Dade Buccaneers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Homestead Broncos to 0 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, South Dade moves its record to 9-13 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Coral Reef (Miami, FL) to play the Barracudas in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 3. The Barracudas come into the game with a record of 12-12. Coral Reef won 15-3 in their recent non-league game against Gulliver Prep (Miami, FL)
In their next game, the Broncos play the Colonial Christian Patriots (Homestead, FL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 28. Homestead will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record.
