Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO) and the host Arrupe Jesuit Generals (Denver, CO), saw Gilpin County's baseball squad edge Arrupe Jesuit by a count of 12-11.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Longmont Christian Warriors (Longmont, CO) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 28. Gilpin County will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 2-11 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Gilpin County (Black Hawk, CO).
