In Thursday's non-league game, the host Benzie Central Huskies baseball team scored a tight 9-2 victory over the Mancelona Ironmen.
The Huskies (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Kingsley (Kingsley, MI). The Stags go into the Northwest game with a 2-1 record.
The Ironmen (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Rudyard (Rudyard, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, Rudyard tipped Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI), 7-3, in a league game.
