Nebraska High School Baseball - Columbus loses to Elkhorn South

The Elkhorn South Storm crushed the visiting Columbus Discoverers baseball team by a count of 9-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Storm now possess a 21-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Island for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 29. Elkhorn South will face a Islanders team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Islanders record now stands at 9-7.

Next, the Discoverers face the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 28. Columbus will attempt to move on its 10-11 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the bout with a 15-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Norfolk (Norfolk, NE).
