The St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish baseball team (Akron, OH), 5-3 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Ellet Orangemen (Akron, OH)

The Orangemen now hold a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McKinley for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 29. Ellet will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-2 league loss to GlenOak (Canton, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-9.

Next, the Fighting Irish confront the Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 1. St. Vincent-St. Mary will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 2-17 record after their 16-3 non-league loss to Nordonia (Macedonia, OH).
